Dear Bill O'Reilly,

Don't EVER compare yourself to John Lennon.

EVER.

(no subject)

I went digging in my attic for things to fill my head with before the finals, other than what the finals are on.

I found lots and lots of musty, dusty old books. Lovely books that have not been opened for decades, and have sat, in perfect reach, until I was finally compelled to journey through the strange mountains and valleys and ditches filled with terrible spider creatures that is my attic.

I found lots of books that I otherwise would have paid lots of money for, but now i do not have to.

I found lots of lovely books. :)

Danger Strikes Back!

I think I had more fun last night than I did in the entirety of Anime Boston, or any other battel.

First in line + front row + Kaiju in my hometown + Beav sniffing Sharpies = best night ever.

After having seen the Providence skyline in flames, my mom ordered me to get the poster. I also looted my wetsuit fund to get a shirt. Kaiju merch is an addiction. Kaiju anything is an addiction.

I'm going to have to bring my digital camera to the next battel, because there were just too many photo opportunities for my tiny phone to handle. I had to delete a lot of pictures frequently. But I still got some really good ones. The picture quality isn't great, but I still got some really good ones.

AB'08

So another year of AB has come and gone. I can't say that I'm sad, because it was an amazing year and we had an amazing time. We didn't make too many friends, which we attribute to being slightly unapproachable.

If you're coming here to find pictures, you won't find many. Sometimes a costume will get me pumped. Sometimes it won't. Sometimes I'm too busy having pictures taken of myself to notice. Either way, I'm selective. You won't find any Naruto pictures here either, as it's redundant and I got my fill of those back in '05. But look anyway, you might be surprised.

Friday, we piled into the Patterson's car and headed up to Boston. We had our own hotel room and a new addition: Schroeder! Sarah and I were dressed as the haircut/long hair short hair/paradox/whatever you called it Garnets. Erin and Schroeder were the "best" Misa and "best" Matt. I put best in quotations because those are not only the words of myself, but the words of just about everyone else who saw them. Schroeder made the Matt vest from scratch and Misa didn't buy everything from the sale rack at Hot Topic. I don't mean to make the other Misas and Matts out there feel inferior, but I'm pretty sure they already do.

Friday Pictures )

Saturday, I got even less pictures than on Friday. That is because we were the infamous Ladies of Bebop. I changed it up from last year's unrecognized Electra to this year's Judy of Bigshot, or "the girl on the TV." A guy who worked in Shaws told me that I had more balls than he does. Sarah and Erin were Faye and Julia, as always. This year, we had Schroeder as the most amazing Ed ever. You might remember her as the Ed who did all the cartwheels and such. We also found a good Spike, and snagged him for a while, for pictures and such. We couldn't walk 3 feet without being asked for a picture, which is why I didn't bother taking a picture of all of us, besides a picture of how cute Schroeder was as Ed and one of myself as Judy in our hotel mirror to send to my mom. My mom responded saying : "Very cute. Don't get arrested, and have fun."

Saturday Pictures )

Sunday was very short, and I only stayed at the con for about an hour before I had to catch my train. We spent some time in the dealers room, and then I left.

Sunday Pictures )

So here's why I didn't take any pictures of us. It's only the day after the convention, and so far, I have found about 283949283728 pictures of us. You can find them here.
